I love doing romance: Salman Khan

Doing romance on screen is what Salman Khan likes the most, even though many of his fans would love to see him do more comedy. His next film Wanted may be an out-and-out action thriller, but for him nothing comes close to getting romantic on screen.

“I like to do all kinds of roles, but I enjoy romance the most in films,” the superstar told the students of AAFT in Noida on his visit to the city.

Known for his macho image, the 43-year-old actor is returning to the action genre after a long gap with 'Wanted', directed by Southern superstar Prabhu Deva.

“There is a lot of action in the film and it is going to be mindblowing. Mind you, it has all been done by me and not by a body double,” he said.

Salman added that the preparation for the role was a painful journey.

“We haven't even used the usual cable work that much, so it has been very difficult and I even pulled a hamstring during one of the running sequences that took three months to heal. But it has all been worth the effort,” he added.

Also present at the event were the director and the film's music composer duo Sajid-Wajid.
