Imran Khan engaged to his long time girlfriend Avantika in a private affair. He was planning to announce the engagement in January, but not it’s already leaked. In a surprise party to girlfriend Avantika on her birthday July 18, Imran proposed her. The party was only for close family members and friends.

“Yes it’s true. But we’re planning to have a proper ceremony later, so right now it’s just for us and our families,” said Imran.

A source revealed, “Imran had thrown a surprise party for Avantika on her birthday on July 18, a very private affair, with only very close family and friends present. There he surprised everyone by proposing to Avantika. Amidst much cheering, she accepted.”

The news hit to Bollywood personalities when the couple seen in Delhi at opening of Arjun Rampal’s nightclub last week. When Arjun learnt about engagement of the m he doubled the celebration by announcing it. The Bollywood biggies present for the event congratulated them.

When the wedding is? Imran refused to give any wedding date details. The couple has been together since a long time. They were always open about their relationship. They have been often seen attending parties and events together. However Avantika previously dated another Bollywood hottie Ranbir Kapoor.
