The friends have alluded to a large drug problem that has been apparent due to the star’s behavior over the last few years. They have stated that the young star is more than aware that she has a problem that she can not fix on her own, but has refused to go and get help for her issues. “If she doesn’t get help soon, she’s going to die,” one individual who is close to the star said recently. Insiders claim that Lohan has been making excuses for her erratic behavior by blaming it on other people, namely the paparazzi. The other night, after falling as she left a Hollywood nightclub, Lohan tweeted “Only I would get pushed into a large, sharp plant by crazy paparazzi!!! I need to start wearing more flats:/.” This is one example that was cited by those who were worried about the young star after a string of incidents.Lohan has disclosed in recent weeks how she treated her court ordered rehabilitation more like a small vacation than an actual necessity. She has said that she went because she wanted to avoid jail time, and that she was not being serious about getting off of the drugs. “I met some great people,” Lohan told a magazine recently, referring to the time that she spent in the rehabilitation clinic. Representatives for Lohan have not commented on the statements that were made by her friends. It is expected that they will avoid commenting on these statements for the time being, and instead will focus on trying to convince Lohan to help herself.
