The hair cut is much shorter than she has warn her hair previously, and many have wondered whether or not her change in hair style has to do with her recent break up with her long time boyfriend. The newly single star has made several changes to her appearance since the break up, but has not shied away from the cameras, attending several different events since she first went public with her split. When she appeared with her new hair cut she was wearing a beautiful brightly colored dress that was made by 3.1 Phillip Lim. The event that she was attending when she debuted her new hair cut was the grand opening of Esprit’s in Manhattan.
She had been dating her Ghost Whisperer co-star Jamie Kennedy. She went on to admit that her hair cut took place shortly following the break up, but continued to maintain that she did not cut her hair because of her break up with her former boyfriend. Love Hewitt has been a part of quite a few publications recently prior to the break up, appearing in several different magazines in recent weeks for interviews about the upcoming episodes of her television show, Ghost Whisperer, and her plans beyond the hit television show. Representatives for her former boyfriend and co-star, Jamie Kennedy, were not immediately available for comment and it was not clear if he was even aware of the haircut, as Jennifer Love Hewitt maintains that they have not spoken since they split just a little bit over a week ago. She went on to say that the hair cut came about because “she needed a change” and not because she was trying to attract a new boyfriend. Hewitt is scheduled to give interviews for several New York radio stations in the coming days and weeks.
