Empower Rent, Inc. was formed in 2007 with the goal of building a portfolio of rental properties throughout the Jacksonville, Florida area.

To date, Empower Rent’s portfolio has grown to nearly 30 homes, ranging from mobile homes, to single family homes, multi-family homes and high end condominiums. These homes are spread throughout almost all parts of Jacksonville.

In addition, the President and CEO of Empower Rent, Inc., Michael Barnes has expanded the business to include training programs such as Trailer Park Riches (www.trailerparkriches.com), a program designed to tech people how to successfully invest in mobile and manufactured homes (aka Trailers) and Landlord Tutor. Landlord Tutor (www.landlordtutor.com) provides training, coaching and guidance to landlords to help them reduce costs and vacancies and improve the bottom line on their rental properties. In addition Empower Rent also offers partnership opportunities for property owners and investors to leverage the resources and skills of Empower Rent to make their rental properties more profitable in a passive or hands off manner.

Empower Rent, Inc. plans to continue to expand in all aspects of its business. This includes expanding its portfolio of properties as well as expanding its training, coaching and partnership programs.
