Janet Jackson rocks AMA's; Michael Jackson wins most awards in AMA history Photo
It was a big night for the Jackson family, as Janet Jackson opened the American Music Awards and Michael Jackson made history.

Janet Jackson's performance at the 2009 American Music Awards featured a medley of great Janet hits. Ms. Jackson finished the performance with "Together Again," encouraging the audience to stand up and groove to the uplifting tune.

Janet's AMA performance also featured "Make Me," her new single off of her best hits album "Janet: Number Ones."

Michael Jackson also became the one and only artist to win the most American Music Awards in history (23) when he posthumously won two awards: Favorite Pop/Rock Male and Soul/R&B Artist. Brother Jermaine Jackson accepted both awards.
